About the Role

You will provide comprehensive casework management and be responsible for ensuring annual reviews take place within statutory time‑scales, reassessments are conducted as necessary, phase transfers between education settings are managed and children and young people are supported to achieve their outcomes. The caseload will be determined through the education setting so Coordinators will be the link to the schools in their allocation and will also hold a small A-Z allocation for children placed in schools out of borough. For the Primary Pod there is an EHC Assistant who supports the Coordinators with their work.

  • A thorough knowledge of the Children and Families Act 2014 and the associated SEND Code of Practice.
  • The ability to work in a busy and pressurised environment with competing pressures.

If you are passionate about helping shape the lives of children and young people with special education needs, we want to hear from you. The work is interesting, varied and can be challenging at times, although very rewarding. Come and join us on our transformation journey!
