Job summary

Kindred in Rugeley, Staffordshire, is seeking a reliable cleaner to help create a safe, welcoming environment for staff, visitors and service users. You will perform routine cleaning such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitising surfaces and restocking supplies.

Duties include deep cleaning periodically, using equipment safely, following COSHH and health and safety rules, and working independently or with colleagues to maintain high cleanliness standards. A DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Able to complete physical demands with reasonable adjustments.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Capable of completing tasks within a specified timeframe.
• English communication ability; not required as a first language.
• Willing to work fixed shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Dusting, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, touchpoints and furniture.
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly.
• Restocking soap, towels and toilet rolls.
• Deep-cleaning tasks when required (carpets, polishing).
• Using equipment safely and reporting maintenance issues.
