Job summary

AtWilderness Way is seeking a bold Education Assessment Lead to work 1:1 with up to 8 children across our unique homes. You’ll craft personalised education journeys that meet each child where they are and help them discover how far they can go.

You’ll collaborate with our care and outdoor teams, plan engaging activities, track progress, and travel between up to six service locations (a driver’s license and car are required).

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher with QTS is required.
• Ability to design individualised plans based on assessment.
• Excellent rapport with children and ability to engage diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Create individualised learning plans based on real assessment.
• Deliver 1:1 sessions that build confidence, curiosity and capability.
• Plan engaging activities and visits to make learning stick.
• Collaborate with care and outdoor teams to bring lessons to life.
• Track progress, set aspirations, and celebrate progress and milestones.
• Travel between up to 6 service locations; a vehicle is required.
