Overview

To postholder will manage the delivery of one or more projects which enable Children & Young People to make the best start in life and achieve their full potential.

You will be part of the Capital Development and School Admissions Team. A team who are central in supporting the delivery of the statutory responsibilities and priorities of the Education and Inclusion Service.

You will have experience of managing complex projects to achieve defined outcomes including business benefits and savings targets.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of one or more projects enabling Children & Young People to make the best start in life and achieve their full potential.
  • Be part of the Capital Development and School Admissions Team, supporting the delivery of statutory responsibilities and priorities of the Education and Inclusion Service.
Qualifications and skills
  • Experience of managing complex projects to achieve defined outcomes including business benefits and savings targets.
  • Excellent communication skills; budget monitoring experience; excellent attention to detail; ability to develop positive working relationships with colleagues, schools and partner agencies; pragmatic and solution-focused approach to a wide variety of situations.
  • Hybrid working style (office-based in a modern Hub style office and home working).
  • Part-time (18.5 hours) for 24 months; flexibility to discuss different patterns.
