A local education authority in London is seeking an Education Advisory Service Manager to lead the school improvement framework. This role involves strategic leadership, building effective partnerships with schools, and monitoring performance outcomes. The ideal candidate will have experience in school leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to support and challenge schools effectively. The School Performance and Participation Support Service has longstanding relationships with Wandsworth’s family of high‑performing schools yet remains outward‑facing and open to new opportunities and challenges. You will work alongside a friendly and committed team of school improvement specialists, including link advisors, who are collaborative, aspirational and solution‑focused. As the Education Advisory Service Manager, you will be responsible for the implementation of the school improvement framework in relation to school provision in Wandsworth, building on effective partnerships with schools and supporting the strategic implementation of the Wandsworth school improvement policies. You will also have responsibility for monitoring inspection outcomes and overall performance and will be the strategic lead for primary assessment and moderation.
