Job summary

Arup is seeking a Systems Analyst within the Project Technology and Services team to deliver and support BIM, EDMS and CDE services critical to lifecycle management of project documents, models and data. You will manage key software portfolios and work with engineers across the business to meet evolving project needs.

You will collaborate in a global team of technology specialists, applying ISO 19650 standards and integrating vendor tools to improve project delivery and align with Arup’s

Qualifications

• Experience delivering BIM projects and managing EDMS/CDE workflows.
• Knowledge of integrating design tools (Autodesk/Bentley/ESRI/Trimble) within CDE.
• Familiarity with ISO 19650 and international industry standards.
• Ability to collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across a global team.

PTS is a global team of technical specialists for engineering design tools and platforms, predominantly in the Transport, Buildings, Water and Energy sectors. Collaborating closely with global business leaders, skills leaders, and service managers across the DTG, as well as the wider BIM and Automation teams, PTS ensures seamless integration and performance of our technical software solutions

• As a Systems Analyst within the PTS team, specialising in BIM delivery, Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) and Common Data Environment (CDE) Services, you will implement, support, and maintain the infrastructure and applications crucial for the lifecycle management of project documents, models, and data. ISO 19650 being integral to project delivery.
• Key responsibilities include maintaining and managing our core AEC engineering application portfolios from Autodesk, Bentley, ESRI, and Trimble, with a specific focus on their integration between disciplines and defined EDMS and CDE solutions.
• Collaboration closely with engineers across the business to define needs and requirements, whilst working as part of a global team of technology specialists delivering solutions to the business.
• Innovation - working closely with vendors and technology providers to implement robust services within Arup that improve project delivery and align with business needs.

Is this role right for you?

• Prior working experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry
• A good understanding of the Design, implementation and operation of EDMS and CDE systems
• Strong communication skills and a flexible, adaptable approach to providing solutions that meet changing business requirements
• Working knowledge of ISO19650 and other international industry standards
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and standards
