A leading global law firm in London is seeking an eDiscovery Coordinator to support global eDiscovery projects. This role involves processing data for legal teams, maintaining records, and using eDiscovery tools to enhance legal operations. We are looking for an eDiscovery Coordinator to support the delivery of global eDiscovery projects, reporting into the eDiscovery Senior Technical Lead. You’ll collaborate across UK and US teams to optimise legal operations and enhance client value. This role offers variety, visibility, and the chance to shape outcomes in a dynamic and high‑performing team.
Helps process and organise collected data, preparing it for review and analysis by legal teams, while ensuring data integrity and security.
Maintains detailed records of data collection, processing activities, and chain of custody documentation to ensure traceability and accountability.
Operates eDiscovery software and tools to facilitate efficient data review and management, and assists with troubleshooting any technical issues that arise.
Ensures all eDiscovery activities are defensible and comply with relevant procedures and guidelines to mitigate risks.
Carry out eDiscovery tasks, such as setting up and customising review platforms, processing data, running searches and culling data, creating review batches, customising coding templates and creating user roles
Provides basic training to internal stakeholders on eDiscovery tools and processes, enhancing overall team proficiency and understanding.
Contributes to the evaluation of eDiscovery processes and makes suggestions for improvements, supporting the development of best practices and enhanced efficiency.
Establish and maintain relationships with key business stakeholders, such as the practice, technology etc.
Experience in managing eDiscovery tools and handling of electronically stored information (ESI) in a global professional services firm, preferably in the legal sector.
Experience in overseeing the collection, processing and storage of large volumes of ESI, and ensuring technical activities adhere to security protocols and compliance standards.
2:1 Degree (or equivalent)
Previous experience or formal training in a technology, data processing or eDiscovery related field.
This role can be based in our London offices, with a hybrid working model available.
