Overview
eDiscovery Assistant Project Manager – Remote (UK based) – £50K
Working with a variety of companies and institutions helping them to achieve their objectives by solving their most complex and important legal issues in eDiscovery. Responsibilities
- You will be able to successfully deliver and assist others in the delivery of eDiscovery projects on instruction from the Practice
- Assist with the management team of the eDiscovery team in their projects
- Provide the firm/eDiscovery team with technical, strategic and practical know how on eDisclosure
- Accountable for ensuring QC process is adhered to in delivery of all services
- Ensure eDiscovery Senior Managers are made aware of all tasks and projects and the approach to delivery is discussed and confirmed with them
- Generate recommendations, project plans, estimates, procedures and specs, ensure quotes are provided and instructions agreed
- Data processing of material received in various formats including native, load file mapped, and exception handling
- Setup and customise the review platform, running searches and culling data, creating review batches, customising coding templates, creating users and related permissions
- Resolve first line support queries and work with our 2nd and 3rd line support to ensure technical issues are resolved
- Ensure defensible processes and data security procedures are adhered to
- Maintain project and product documentation
- Administration of software and hardware used by the eDiscovery team
- UK based, but providing global support and eDisclosure skills
- Responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of eDiscovery projects, including processing data, creating productions for disclosure/investigation, leveraging TAR functionality, Early Case Assessment tools, eBundling and case management
- Keep up to date with developments by attending seminars on relevant services and technology, ensuring knowledge is shared and training is provided to all team members
- Contribute to internal know-how
Education / Qualifications
- Knowledge of the EDRM
- An understanding of the principles set out in the ACPO guide for evidence
- Knowledge of and experience of using eDiscovery tools to deliver eDiscovery services
- Previous experience or formal training in a technology, data processing or eDiscovery related field
- Experience of using eDisclosure products such as Relativity, Reveal, Disco, Axcelerate, Documatrix, Clearwell, eTrium, Nuix or Opus2
