EDI Integration Lead – Hybrid – Salary: £55,000–£60,000 + Car Allowance

The Compleat Food Group is on an exciting growth journey, and we’re looking for an experienced EDI Integration Lead to drive and own our Group‑wide EDI Integration strategy. This role is pivotal to ensuring the stability, efficiency, and future scalability of our integration landscape.

As the Group’s EDI expert, you’ll partner with key stakeholders, strategic EDI providers, and multiple ERP platforms to deliver resilient, future‑proof solutions. If you enjoy leading integration initiatives, influencing strategy, and bringing structure to a complex environment, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead and shape the Group’s EDI strategy, ensuring it is scalable, robust, and aligned to future business needs.
  • Design, implement, and enhance EDI solutions across multiple ERP systems in collaboration with integration partners.
  • Lead integration projects with customers, suppliers, and 3PL partners.
  • Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions on time and to a high standard.
  • Support the Platforms team in onboarding new trading partners, defining communication protocols and data standards.
  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships, ensuring adherence to SLAs and data quality metrics.
  • Establish and uphold EDI governance, standards, and best practices across the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with all data security, privacy, and industry regulations.
  • Act as a mentor and trusted advisor within the Platforms Team, sharing expertise and strengthening internal capability.
What You’ll Bring
  • 10+ years’ experience in an EDI‑centric role.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with key EDI standards such as EDIFACT and Tradacoms.
  • A deep understanding of order‑to‑cash, supply chain, and other EDI‑driven business processes.
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills across technical and non‑technical groups.
  • Proven people leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Experience working within the FMCG sector is highly desirable.
