Job summary

SRT Marine Systems plc in the UK is seeking a Technical Product Owner to lead product direction for maritime surveillance solutions. You will work with edge sensors, radar, cameras, and communication systems to deliver integrated features with a strong user focus.

Based in Bristol with hybrid flexibility, the role requires collaboration with data scientists, UX/UI designers and development teams to turn complex requirements into practical software deliveries.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree is beneficial but not essential.
• Experience owning products across networked systems.
• Experience with data science and ML in surveillance or analytics.
• Understanding of Agile software delivery and Product Owner role.
• Comfortable working with development teams and strategic direction.
• Experience collaborating with UX/UI designers, data scientists, and developers.

Responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner in edge systems and data science teams.
• Integrate radar, camera, radio, and sensor solutions into maritime solutions.
• Scope, refine, and deliver data science and ML features.
• Develop understanding of third-party sensor interfaces and architectures.
• Translate concepts into features addressing user problems.
• Be SME on sensor integrations and data science capabilities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define new roadmap features.
• Work with UX/UI to ensure usability and visual impact.
• Train Customer Success and Support on new functionality.
• Understand end-to-end use cases including mobile apps.
