Freeform seeks an experienced infrastructure architect to design and scale edge compute and storage for real-time AI-native manufacturing systems. You will oversee both on-premises and cloud infrastructure, with emphasis on high availability, security, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years enterprise data center engineering experience.
• Heterogeneous compute/data center infrastructure experience (CPUs, GPUs, traditional servers and storage).
• Strong knowledge of both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale edge compute and storage systems for real-time ML at the edge and petabyte-scale data.
• Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of on-premises and cloud infrastructure with high availability, scalability, and security.
• Optimize and manage virtualization and containerization technologies.
• Design, implement, and manage the company's networking infrastructure across all layers.
• Implement and manage security protocols, conduct audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Ensure cost-effective scaling and resource efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with standards such as NIST and ITAR.
