Overview

Do you have a passion for customer service? Do you enjoy the flexibility of shift work? If the answer is yes we have a job that suits you. The Emergency department is looking for caring, enthusiastic and highly organised Admin Clerks to join our friendly Admin team. The team works a variety of shifts covering a 24 hr period, 7 days per week, 365 days per year. Therefore the ability to work a variety of shifts, i.e. early, late and night shifts, is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Provide administration/reception cover to the department and work in association with the nursing staff, consultant teams, the public, management and staff from internal and external sources.
  • Work in a variety of shifts, including early, late and night shifts.
  • Use excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work as a member of the team or individually, and use own initiative to solve problems.
  • Attend to accurate data capture and detail-oriented tasks as part of the role.
Qualifications
  • Experience in an administrative and reception role and competency in IT in the workplace.
  • Experience of shift work and have worked with the public in a customer services role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accurate data capture.
