Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd in Gloucester is seeking an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to start your teaching career with confidence. Join a network of secondary schools across Gloucester and the surrounding areas, gaining varied experience while you build your classroom skills.

You’ll have flexibility between day-to-day supply, longer placements and permanent roles, with ongoing support from a dedicated consultant and access to CPD to help you develop as a practitioner.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or be due to achieve QTS this academic year.
  • A recognised teaching qualification and relevant degree.
  • A genuine enthusiasm for teaching and helping young people achieve their potential.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • A flexible and positive approach, with the confidence to adapt to different school settings.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons within your specialist subject.
  • Creating a positive classroom environment where all students can succeed.
  • Managing behaviour effectively and promoting positive learning.
  • Monitoring progress and providing feedback to support pupil development.
  • Working closely with teaching and pastoral staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
