Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Economics or equivalent quantitative discipline.
• Strong understanding of macro- and microeconomics.
• Experience analysing economic and statistical datasets.
• Ability to interpret economic indicators and explain implications for businesses and policymakers.
• Strong quantitative analytical skills with advanced Excel.
• Excellent writing and communication skills for in-house reports and briefings.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage project workstreams to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support the Chief Economist with collection and analysis of economic data for ADS sectors.
• Improve data analysis processes to enhance reporting credibility and data literacy.
• Co-lead ESG charter data collection and reporting, engage with charter community events and annual reports.
• Analyze trends affecting UK and global economies and collate relevant statistics.
• Respond to ad-hoc data requests from colleagues and industry on ADS sectors.
• Develop new ways of presenting industry and economic data to inform ADS strategy.
• Develop data partnerships with government and private sector stakeholders.
• Provide written and verbal briefings to internal and external stakeholders.
