Salary: £37100.5 - £40257.81 per annum

Support the ambitious tourism, events and cycling strategies, ensuring the Scottish Borders becomes a premier destination for visitors and event organisers while realising the ambitions of the Regional Economic Strategy for the South of Scotland. Shape the tourism and events landscape and maximise the economic and cultural benefits these sectors bring to our communities. Deliver high‑impact initiatives, enhance our region’s tourism offerings and bring the vision to life.

Essential
  • Educated to SCQF level 8.
  • Qualifications in a relevant field such as Tourism, Events Management, Sustainable Transportation, or Economic Development.
  • Commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD).
  • Good general level of education with sound literacy and numeracy skills. Ongoing commitment to CPD within a performance management culture.
