Ecommerce Sales Manager – Jewellery / Luxury

£40000 - £70000 per annum + Additional Company Benefits;

A London based business are working with DB Charles Recruitment to hire a remote Ecommerce Business Development Manager. The business have deep ties within retail luxury goods sector with a particular focus on Jewellery & Watches.

The main focus of this role will be for the hired individual to increase revenue growth by establishing numerous new retail partners varying in size from large well known brands, department stores to smaller independents and other creative account ideas. The focus will be on partners selling jewellery, fashion jewellery & watches. The role will report directly into the Managing Director and will need someone with very strong consultative sales skills and someone able to acquire new partners using various ideas & networks. Day to day duties will include:

  • Establishing new retail & online partners
  • Utilising networking, social media, leads and events to drive new revenue streams
  • Presenting
  • Pitching & deal closing
  • Working with other internal teams
  • Negotiation
  • Working towards KPI’s & targets
  • Forecasting & reporting
  • Plus others

DB Charles have spoken at length with the client on the various skill sets and backgrounds they seek in order to hire, including a number of the below:

  • Holds a strong ecommerce sales background
  • Previous experience within jewellery, fashion jewellery, luxury or watches
  • Excellent understanding of ecommerce and digital retail
  • Highly skilled in presenting, pitching & negotiating
  • Holds a strong network within jewellery, fashion jewellery, luxury or watches
  • Experience and understanding of Shopify or other ERP platforms
  • Self-motivated and excellent time management skills

The role will be remote, likely requiring someone to visit the head office in London once a month. The role will be working Monday to Friday with working hours of 9am to 5pm and given the varying levels of experience this role might attract, the business is offering a salary dependent on skills, background etc of between £40,000 to £70,000 per annum with bonus on top.
