Overview

We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice E-commerce Assistant to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the foundations of e-commerce management and contribute to the success of our online presence. You'll gain hands‑on experience in optimising our website, supporting marketing initiatives, and working with various teams to create an excellent direct‑to‑consumer (DTC) experience.

Reporting directly to the E-commerce Manager, you will receive mentorship and training to develop your skills and grow within the role.

Responsibilities

What you will learn and do:

  • Website Management Support: Assist with the day‑to‑day running and maintenance of our website, learning how to optimise it for search engines (SEO) and ensure content is up‑to‑date with planned activities and business goals.
  • Content & Merchandising Support: Learn to support the creation and maintenance of engaging website content and site merchandising plans. This will involve working with different teams (Digital, Loyalty, CRM & Global) to ensure consistency and impact.
  • Marketing & Promotions Assistance: Help with planning, scheduling, and promoting online sales events and special offers to drive revenue. You'll gain insight into initiating marketing strategies to build site awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our Global, CRM, and Digital teams to understand how different departments contribute to our online success and a seamless customer experience.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Support in monitoring offer uptake and popularity, helping to measure performance against previous campaigns and share insights with the team.
  • New Initiatives & Best Practices: Contribute to new initiatives such as exclusive offers or bundles. Learn to identify product and offer best practices to increase brand awareness across different platforms like Affiliates, Influencers, and new selling channels (e.g., TikTok), helping to track activity.
  • Offer Management Support: Assist with the end‑to‑end process of building offers and promotions, learning how to coordinate tasks within the wider team.
  • Develop Core Skills: Cultivate your ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines while developing a keen eye for detail.
