Job summary

Kingston University invites applications for an Hourly Paid Lecturer to support teaching in Ecology and conservation. Approximately five hours per week with preparation time, delivered at Penrhyn Road Campus and local field settings.

The successful candidate should have a Doctorate or equivalent and be able to teach Environmental Science, with field and lab competency and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students. UKPSF recognition and professional accreditation are desirable.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent professional qualification in a related field.
• Ability to teach Environmental Science and supervise students in field and lab settings.
• Experience with undergraduate modules and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver taught sessions in Ecology and conservation at Penrhyn Road Campus and field settings.
• Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research and modules.
• Contribute to teaching quantitative research methods and manage set tasks to deadlines.
