About the Role

As an Ecologist, you'll play a key role in delivering high‑quality ecological advice and surveys across a range of infrastructure and development projects. You'll work collaboratively with multi‑disciplinary teams to deliver innovative, practical, and sustainable solutions for clients across utilities, transport, and renewable sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake and coordinate ecological surveys (e.g., Phase 1/UKHab, protected species, habitat assessments).
• Produce clear, concise, and accurate ecological reports and impact assessments.
• Support project delivery from feasibility through to construction and post‑consent stages.
• Provide ecological advice to clients and internal teams to ensure compliance with legislation and best practice.
• Liaise with regulators, local authorities, and stakeholders as required.

About You

• Degree (or equivalent) in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in ecological surveying, reporting, and project management.
• Strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation and relevant policy.
• Membership (or working towards) CIEEM or equivalent professional body.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for fieldwork.
