Ecologist Position Overview
  • Undertake protected species surveys.
  • Assist in building tenders and creating quotations.
  • Produce technical reports (PEA reports, BNG reports, protected species reports, etc.).
  • Manage small‑ to medium‑sized projects and support large‑sized projects as needed.
Ecologist Position Requirements
  • 2.5‑3+ years of industry experience.
  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management or a related field.
  • Hold a protected species licence.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and the ability to apply it correctly.
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology & Environmental Management (preferred).
