An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced ecologist to join a dynamic and forward-thinking environmental consultancy. This role offers the chance to work on a variety of projects across diverse landscapes, supporting clients in delivering sustainable and environmentally responsible solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Play a key role in ecological surveys, impact assessments, and habitat management plans; ensure compliance with environmental legislation and best practices.
  • Conduct fieldwork, write reports, liaise with stakeholders, and provide expert advice on ecological matters.
  • Support multiple projects and collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality ecological consultancy services.
Qualifications
  • Relevant degree in ecology or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of UK wildlife legislation and protected species surveys.
  • Holding a protected species licence would be advantageous, as would membership in a professional body such as CIEEM.
