Job summary

Landuse is seeking an Associate Ecological Consultant for its London office. The position offers a salary of £47,000 – £59,000 FTE, with a London allowance of £4,000, and supports a hybrid working model with flexible options.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of wildlife in the UK, gained through further/higher education or practical experience.
• Willingness to work across the UK, with some trips away from home.
• Experience of engaging with commercial clients and their stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identifying new work opportunities and leading business development initiatives.
• Preparing tender responses and fee proposals.
• Designing and overseeing implementation of ecological surveys.
• Managing projects in line with internal Project Management System.
• Analysing and interpreting ecological data.

Skills

Strong understanding of wildlife in the UK

Good understanding of UK nature conservation legislation and policy

Experience in habitat and protected species survey

Engaging with commercial clients and stakeholders

Line management responsibilities

Full UK driving licence
