Job Title: Ecologist

Location: South of England/Nationwide (Remote/Hybrid working)

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 DOE

The Role

We are seeking an Ecologist in the South of England to join a property consultancy who are based in West Sussex and looking to bring Ecology in-house. Due to projects being around the UK they are flexible on the candidates location, ideally close to West Sussex but flexible.

The Company

This company is a property consultancy who offer various services such as town planning, ecology, development management, surveys, design and feasibility assessments on a variety of commercial and residential projects.

Responsibilities
  • Travel in the UK for site visits and surveys
  • Support with planning applications
  • Ecological reports and assessments
  • Advise on BNG
  • Help grow the ecology department
Desired Skills & Qualifications
  • A degree in Ecology or similar
  • Experience working in a consultancy
  • Good knowledge of UK wildlife legislation
  • BNG experience would be advantageous
  • Able to travel across the UK for site visits
