Qualifications

  • Degree in ecology or a related environmental discipline.
  • Strong field survey skills and experience in UK habitats and protected species work.
  • Membership (or working towards membership) of CIEEM.
  • Understanding of relevant UK wildlife legislation and planning policy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake and lead ecological surveys (including habitat and protected species surveys).
  • Prepare clear, accurate ecological reports and impact assessments.
  • Support the design and implementation of mitigation and enhancement measures.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Contribute to biodiversity net gain and nature recovery initiatives.

About You

  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site work
