Allen & York are thrilled to be working with a multidisciplinary consultancy, providing ecological, arboricultural, and landscape services to a variety of high-profile clients across a diverse range of sectors in the UK.

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Ecologist.

The successful candidate will assist on a variety of projects and protected species surveys, from project inception through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist on a variety of projects and protected species surveys, from project inception through to completion.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in ecology with proven experience within a professional ecological consultancy, including managing projects, undertaking surveys and assisting senior team members.
• Good working knowledge of ecology, legislation and survey techniques, including protected species surveys and mitigation, together with a solid understanding of the application of relevant protected species planning policies.
• Excellent communicator, self-motivated and organised, with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively.
• A full UK driving licence is required with access to your own vehicle.
