Scarborough Health Network is seeking an Echocardiographer to perform diagnostic echocardiography and support physicians with cardiac assessments. This position includes Saturday work and vacation coverage for the full-time team, contributing to timely patient care across SHN’s sites.

Candidates must hold a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer credential, ARDMS certification, and BCLS. Prior experience with TEE and Doppler techniques is essential for success in a fast-paced cardiovascular

Job Description

Position Overview

Reporting to the Manager, the Echocardiographer will provide diagnostic testing and assist physicians in the diagnosis of patients with cardiac and associated disorders. This position will work Saturdays and provide vacation coverage for full time staff.

Requirements

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
• ARDMS certification
• Current certification in BCLS
• Minimum of one year clinical experience
• Clinical experience with TEE
• Experienced in Doppler techniques including Dobutamine Stress
• Ability to work independently in fast paced, team setting
• Demonstrates values consistent with SHN's Code of Conduct and is committed to fostering a healthy and positive work environment in accordance with Health & Safety policy and legislation
• Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to SHN's comprehensive safety programs and practices including staff safety, patient safety, and environmental safety and participates in regular in-service education in this area.
