Job summary

Sulis Hospital in Bath is seeking a motivated Highly Specialist Cardiac Physiologist to join our cardiology team. The role involves performing echocardiograms with full reporting, non-invasive tests, and care of consumables and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have BSE accreditation, AHSC or RCCP registration, a cardiac physiology qualification or equivalent, strong IT skills, and at least three years post-qualification experience.

Qualifications

• Current BSE Accreditation
• AHSC or RCCP registration
• Cardiac physiology qualification or equivalence (eg Clinical cardiology degree, PTP HCS etc)
• Strong IT skills, proficient in word, excel and outlook
• Minimum of 3 years post qualification cardiology experience
• Ability to prepare and present on topics in cardiology/ service delivery (Rare)
• Confident and reassuring demeanour
• Customer service skills
• Experience of full ambulatory analysis to support juniors
• Experience of using Spacelabs healthcare equipment
• Knowledge of BSE standards and up to date policies
• Experience of exercise testing
• Experience in triage processes
• SCST certificate or diploma
• Participation in pacing services
• Management /leadership qualification
• Immediate Life Support certificate training will be provided and compliance required during probation

We are looking for motivated and passionate individuals to work flexibly as part of our hospitals developing Cardiology team providing the highest standards of professional care to patients and to make a positive contribution towards the teams pursuit of excellence. A friendly manner is essential as you will need to be able to communicate with patients and put them at ease during this vulnerable time along with high attention to detail to ensure your documentation is accurate. You will be responsible for undertaking echocardiograms with full reporting, other non-invasive tests and be involved in the consumable and equipment care. The ability to work independently is essential., Permanent - Full time or Part Time hours could be considered Including some occasional weekend working This role requires DBS clearance Immediate life support certificate - training will be provided and full compliance will be required as part of your probation period. If you have voluntary registration, BSE current accreditation and a demonstrable record of CPD with knowledge and experience of cardiac professional practice, then we would like to hear from you.
