Job description

We have an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Network Engineer to join our team. Candidates should have extensive experience with Cisco routing and switching, as well as experience with Palo Alto firewalls. This role can be undertaken remotely, but will require attendance at sites across Central and North Scotland.

What you’ll do

1. Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure
2. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues
3. Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards
4. Collaborate with IT teams at local and HQ levels to meet department goals
5. Provide comprehensive project documentation for handover to operations

What to bring

1. Extensive experience in Network Engineer roles
2. Proficiency in network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and a solid understanding of network security principles
3. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
4. Preferred experience includes:
   1. Cisco routing and switching
   2. Palo Alto firewalls
5. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred)
