Job summary

SUEZ are hiring a Maintenance Technician to support the safe, reliable, and sustainable operation of our Energy Recovery Centre. You’ll deliver reactive and planned maintenance on control and instrumentation systems, including CEMs and DCS, as part of a multi-skilled team.

With an engineering apprenticeship and PLC/instrumentation troubleshooting experience, you will help keep the site running efficiently and contribute to continuous improvement and safe ways of working.

Qualifications

• Completed engineering apprenticeship with City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3.
• DCS training typically provided by OEM on-site equipment.
• Experience with PLC systems and instrumentation troubleshooting.
• City & Guilds 2377 PAT testing certification.
• Health and safety qualification (e.g., IOSH).

Responsibilities

• Delivering reactive and planned maintenance on control and instrumentation systems.
• Providing on-site expertise on specialist equipment, including CEMs and DCS.
• Carrying out PLC and instrumentation fault-finding and troubleshooting.
• Supporting colleagues across functions when required.
• Contributing to safe systems of work and continuous improvement on site.
