Job summary

Uniper is seeking an EGTL MO Maintenance Engineer (EC&I) to lead maintenance planning and execution across EGTL sites, coordinating M&O teams and contractors to deliver maintenance and outages safely and on schedule.

You will drive KPI reporting, health and safety practices, and continuous improvement while developing apprentices and sharing best practices with other departments.

Qualifications

• Higher National Certificate in Engineering or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance practices.
• Solid health, safety and environmental awareness and culture.
• Experience with SAP and maintenance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the maintenance performance of the designated planner group(s) across EGTL.
• Engage in planning and scheduling of site maintenance and operations activities.
• Manage and report key technical and maintenance performance indicators.
• Lead health, safety and environmental management in planning and delivery of M&O plans.
• Drive continuous improvement in efficiency and productivity of M&O plans.
• Ensure quality management in planning and delivery of M&O plans.
• Ensure compliance with company and local procedures.
• Review maintenance spares holdings and stock level optimisation.
• Deliver maintenance contracts in compliance with defined roles and nominations.
• Support Governance & Strategy Team to develop contracting strategies.
• Lead outages and support long-term planned outages to meet programme, budget and quality.
• Develop Uniper apprentices and support their progression.
• Benchmark with other departments and teams to achieve performance, revenue and capex goals.
