Job Overview

EC&I Partners are seeking an experienced EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) Design Engineer to join our client's office-based team in Winsford. This role involves designing, developing, and overseeing electrical and control systems for wastewater treatment projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design EC&I systems including control panels and instrumentation
  • Produce technical drawings: layouts, schematics, P&IDs, loop diagrams
  • Prepare documentation: BOMs, FAT/SAT procedures, O&M manuals
  • Liaise with clients and attend project meetings
  • Provide technical support to site teams
  • Ensure compliance with QMS, H&S, and relevant legislation
Requirements
  • Recognised apprenticeship or 4+ years in a similar role
  • City & Guilds / BTEC (or equivalent) in EC&I discipline
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Electrical OM (or similar)
  • COMPEX qualified with knowledge of DSEAR/DSD
  • Strong understanding of hazardous areas and instrumentation
  • Full UK driving licence and valid passport
