Job summary

WeBuyVintage is seeking an engaging eBay Live Host to front 1.5-hour live shows from our Leeds studio, selling watches, jewellery and collectibles to buyers across the UK. You’ll own each show, managing running order, on-camera presentation and viewer engagement.

Training provided if you’re new to live selling; evenings and a weekend day are part of a 4-day week. Access to studio facilities and stock knowledge will be offered.

Qualifications

• Confident, natural and engaging on camera, with energy to carry a 1.5-hour live show.
• Genuine interest in watches, jewellery or collectibles, and a willingness to learn fast.
• Honest and trustworthy: buyers need to believe what you say about an item.
• Comfortable selling and creating urgency without being pushy.
• Happy to work evenings and one weekend day as part of a 4-day week.
• Able to commute to our Leeds studio.
• Experience in retail, auctions, pawnbroking, antiques or jewellery sales is useful.
• Basic photography skills.

Responsibilities

• Host at least 12 hours a week of live shows on eBay Live (typically 1.5-hour shows).
• Show every item honestly, build excitement and answer buyer questions in real time.
• Work with warehouse to select stock for each show.
• Price lots and set starting bids within guidelines.
• Photograph items and load show's running order onto eBay Live.
• Promote shows across eBay with Marketplace Listings Supervisor.
• Check sales matched to stock IDs and dispatch same day.
• Report weekly on hours streamed, viewers, items sold per hour, and sell-through.
• Identify and test new formats and programming moments with the supervisor.
