Job summary

Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Dietitian for the Community Adult Eating Disorder Service on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract covering maternity leave. The post is part of a transformation programme across Essex mental health services.

Remote working will be considered for this post and you may work across Trust sites as required. You will deliver specialist dietetic input to adults with eating disorders in the community, including the FREED pathway,

Qualifications

• Registered dietitian with HCPC registration and eligible for professional registration in the UK.
• Postgraduate training in dietetics or related field (MSC/PG Cert).
• Experience in eating disorders and clinical dietetics within community or hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Eating Disorders Nutrition and Dietetics service for the north team.
• Provide specialist dietetic assessment, diagnosis and treatment in the community (FREED pathway).
• Offer expert nutritional advice to health and social care professionals, clients and carers.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate dietetic interventions for people with eating disorders.
• Deliver individual treatment programmes using 1:1, group activities and education.
