A regional events organization in the United Kingdom seeks a part-time administrator to manage quarterly meetings, promote member engagement, and handle bookkeeping tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and experience with budget management. This role is home-based, preferably located in or near the East Anglian region, and offers flexible working hours.
Arrange quarterly meetings of EATTA members throughout the year at different venues across the region
Distribute agendas prior to quarterly meetings and minutes from meetings post-meetings to members
Arrange key speakers for EATTA meetings
Promote and encourage attendance at meetings by EATTA members
Agree budgets with the EATTA committee for meetings & events
Bookkeeping to a high standard to facilitate annual accounting
Presentation of year end accounts in conjunction with accountant to the EATTA committee for approval
Working with the Committee to help and encourage new members to join EATTA
Liaise with TDUK in keeping the EATTA website up to date
Regularly liaise with the Chair and Committee on issues arising
Initially working with our current Secretary to arrange the Annual Dinner at King’s College, Cambridge for 300+ guests
Liaise with local charities to ascertain where best to lend EATTA’s support
Maintain social media presence
Part-time working hours with remuneration to be discussed
Home-based, preferably within or close to the East Anglian region
