Environmentjob seeks an East Anglia Education Officer to lead the Hop Spots programme across East Anglia, delivering a varied programme of environmental education and engagement. You will work with schools, colleges, universities, community groups and partners to provide classroom-based learning, community activities and outdoor fieldwork in amphibian and reptile habitats.

Training in amphibian and reptile survey and conservation skills will be provided; some experience in UK species

Qualifications

• Interest in UK amphibians and reptiles.
• Some experience in ecological surveying or monitoring would be an advantage.
• Training in amphibian & reptile survey and conservation skills will be provided.

Responsabilités

• Lead delivery of the Hop Spots programme across East Anglia.
• Develop and deliver environmental education and engagement activities.
• Collaborate with schools, colleges, universities, community groups and partners.
• Organise fieldwork and practical outdoor sessions in amphibian and reptile habitats.
