Arcadis is seeking an engineer to support our Transmission & Distribution team within the design and engineering function. The role focuses on substation earthing measurements, testing equipment maintenance, and delivering site reports to clients.

You will assess risks, communicate technical details, and travel to various UK locations as required. The ideal candidate has experience with earthing systems, measurement techniques, and producing clear documentation.

• Experience in writing clear, concise documentation.

Responsabilités

• Perform earthing system measurements including soil resistivity and impedance.
• Carry out earthing resistance and continuity measurements.
• Trace conductors and inspect earthing continuity.
• Produce risk assessments/method statements and ensure Health & Safety standards.
• Prepare site measurement reports for clients and maintain test equipment.

We are here to protect our natural environment and water resources, while powering our world for future generations.Working within our established Transmission & Distribution team, you will be responsible for undertaking substation earthing measurements ensuring the health & safety of substation operatives. You will also be responsible for maintaining and repairing test equipment and liaising with clients to schedule works.Reporting to an Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting in the delivery of project-related site measurements and developing reports to issue to the client. As part of your role, you will be responsible for conducting risk analysis of the work area and identify potential hazards and risks.
