Job summary

DERBY, DE22 is recruiting a friendly Pharmacy Assistant Apprentice to join a busy community pharmacy team. You will earn while you learn and work towards a Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant Apprenticeship.

Responsibilities include helping customers, assisting with prescriptions, managing stock, and using pharmacy systems. No prior pharmacy experience is required as full training is provided.

Qualifications

• GCSEs at A-C or 4-9 in Maths and English desired but not essential as can be provided via the course.
• If Maths/English Level 2 is missing, tests determine suitability for the course.
• No prior pharmacy experience required; full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the medicines counter and respond to queries.
• Assist with prescription preparation and supply under supervision.
• Handle stock, deliveries and maintain records.
• Use pharmacy systems to process prescriptions and sales.
• Maintain cleanliness, health and safety, and confidentiality.
• Work as part of a team to deliver excellent customer service.
