Salary: £80 - £100 per day

Working Hours: 08:30 am to 04:00 pm (Monday to Friday)

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistants to join our dynamic primary school community in Tower Hamlets. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide personalized assistance to children with diverse learning needs, ensuring they thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant in Tower Hamlets, you will:

  • Morning Support: Provide tailored support to students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, including ADHD and self-harming behaviors.
  • Afternoon Flexibility: Offer crucial assistance across Key Stages 1 and 2, adapting to the needs of different age groups.
  • Inclusive Learning: Use your skills to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all students.
  • Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with teachers and SENCO to implement tailored support plans and interventions.
  • Positive Relationships: Foster strong relationships with students, promoting their holistic development.

Requirements for Early Years TA:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Nursery or Early Years Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.

  • Versatility: Ability to support with nappy changing and cater to individual special educational needs.
  • Expertise: Strong understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices.
