We are seeking to recruit a suitably experienced and enthusiastic, teaching assistant to work within our Early Years Department at Abbey Park Primary School.

We provide education for children across campus from the ages of 2 – 12 years old. The school encourages sharing of staff and resources, ensuring expertise and knowledge is available to all. We pride ourselves in being an inclusive setting who work closely as a team to ensure the best outcomes for all our pupils, whatever their ability.

The candidate will work primarily in our Nursery, supporting children who are 2 and 3 years of age. Although where appropriate, there may be a need for the successful candidate to work across other areas of our Early Years, including Pre-School and Reception.

The successful candidate will hold a Grade ‘C’ in both English and Maths, have a high level of child development knowledge and Early Years’ experience would be desirable. The candidate will be a highly effective and innovative team member, be resilient and flexible, ensuring a high quality education for our pupils and the highest standards of learning and achievement. The promotion of inclusivity and a nurturing approach are essential skills.
