The Role – EYFS Teaching Assistant
  • Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play‑based learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
  • Assist in the development of children's communication, language, and social skills.
  • Provide support with personal care routines, including toileting, dressing, and hygiene, ensuring children's comfort and wellbeing.
  • Help with observations and assessments to track children's progress.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that inspires curiosity and independence.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to build strong foundations for each child's education.
About You
  • Experience working with children in an Early Years setting.
  • A caring, patient, and child‑centred approach to supporting learning and personal care needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or Early Years qualification) – desirable.
