Location: Clacton, Tendring, Essex
Contract Type: Full-time
Duration: Ongoing - with potential for permanent placement
Hourly Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience

Are you a passionate and dedicated Easrly Years Teaching Assistant /Nursery Practioner with a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification?

Our client, a welcoming and well-established school, is seeking to appoint an experienced Early Teaching Assistant to join their friendly and professional team. The setting prides itself on providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where young children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills through play and guided activities.

About the Role

As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the delivery of high-quality early years education and care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Work alongside qualified practitioners to plan and implement engaging learning experiences tailored to individual children's needs
  • Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development through play and structured activities
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children within the setting
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Assist with daily routines, including snack times, toileting, and tidying up
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
  • A recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce)
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development principles
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with young children
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
