Are you a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity? A friendly and welcoming nursery in Billingham is seeking a nurturing Teaching Assistant to join their early years team and support children during these vital early stages of development.

Location: Billingham
Start Date: ASAP
Position: Full-time / Part-time / Long-term Role – Early Years Teaching Assistant

• Support children aged 0–5 years within a nursery setting, in line with the EYFS framework.
• Assist the class teacher and nursery staff in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
• Support the delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to help meet individual learning and developmental needs.
• Assist with observations, assessments, and recording children’s progress.
• Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, including routines and care needs.

• A relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3) or experience working in an early years or nursery setting.
• A patient, caring, and positive approach to supporting young children.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
