Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant - Bedford - Temp to Perm - Local Work

Start: January | Long-Term | Competitive Pay (Paid to Scale)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant to join one of our lovely partner schools in Bedford on a long-term basis.

We are looking for a qualified Nursery assistant with a real passion for early years education. You will play a pivotal role in the formative years of these children by bringing learning to life and facilitating a safe environment for them to learn through play.

You should have a strong knowledge of the early years curriculum and be available full-time.

Role Highlights

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, age‑appropriate early years provision
• Lead small group activities, promoting learning through play and early development milestones
• Assist with observations, assessments and maintaining accurate EYFS documentation
• Build positive, nurturing relationships with children, staff and parents

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (or equivalent)
• Experience working within a nursery or EYFS setting

• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
