Job summary

Kids Planet Day Nurseries Penrith is seeking an Early Years Teacher to join our on-site team. This part-time role (18 hours per week) offers a caring environment where every child’s development is nurtured within the EYFS framework.

The successful candidate will hold Level 6 EYFS qualification with UK EYTS, have strong safeguarding knowledge, and be prepared to work closely with families and colleagues to inspire curiosity and joy in learning.

Qualifications

• Must be at least Level 6 Early Years qualification; UK EYTS essential.
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Phonics Training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences across the EYFS.
• Collaborate with the nursery team to create a positive learning environment.
• Build strong partnerships with families to support each child's learning and wellbeing.
