Job summary

Bright Horizons Salcombe Day Nursery and Preschool in Southgate, North London, is seeking an Early Years Teacher for the Preschool Room. You will plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps every child develop and meet their individual needs.

Hold QTS, EYTS or EYPS, and demonstrate a strong EYFS understanding, safeguarding knowledge, and the ability to build trusted partnerships with colleagues and parents. DBS checks and safer recruitment are part of the process.

Qualifications

  • Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) or Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS).
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers.
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both colleagues and parents.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all children develop and meet their individual needs.
  • Make accurate and effective assessments reflecting the needs, interests, and stages of each child.

Nursery – Bright Horizons Salcombe Day Nursery and Preschool

Salary – Starting from £33,467.20 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Teacher to join our Salcombe Nursery, situated in Southgate, North London. This role is for the Preschool Room.

Our nursery is Ofsted rated “Good”, offers 4 age specific rooms, as well as an amazing “adventure garden” – including a separate baby garden, a tipi, a hobbit house, a wooden climbing frame, and a wobbly cycle track! There are also Spanish, Drama and Sports extra-curricular activities too.

The Role
