Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of learners in line with KPIs.
  • Support remote teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Track progress and Off-the-Job hours via e-portfolio.
  • Support Functional Skills achievement.
  • Promote learner engagement and progression.
  • Ensure safeguarding, EDI, and H&S compliance.
  • Provide effective IAG to learners and employers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive success.
  • Stay current with Ofsted and EYFS standards.

Skills

Experience in 1:1 teaching, learning, and assessment
Strong planning, organisation, and digital skills
Ability to inspire and motivate learners remotely and in person
Knowledge of Ofsted inspection standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and supervisory experience
Commitment to EDI, health, safety, and wellbeing

Education

GCSE (A–C) or equivalent in English and Maths
Children’s Care Learning & Development (Level 3)
Foundation or Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies
Teaching/training qualifications (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS)

About the job

Eden Training Solutions is looking for a passionate Skills Coach to support and guide Early Years apprentices through their learning journey. You’ll deliver remote 1:1 sessions, track progress using our e-portfolio system, and work closely with learners and employers to ensure timely achievement.

About you
Qualifications
  • GCSE (A–C) or equivalent in English and Maths
  • Children’s Care Learning & Development (Level 3), Childcare & Education (Level 3), Early Years Care & Education (Level 3) or equivalent/higher qualification
  • TAQA, A1, D32/33, CAVA or willingness to work towards
  • Foundation or Honours Degree in Early Childhood Studies
  • Teaching/training qualifications (e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert-Ed)
  • Paediatric First Aid (Level 3)
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in 1:1 teaching, learning, and assessment
