Job description

FSN is now recruiting for an Early Years Services Manager.

Salary from £35,448 per annum (FTE equivalent), depending on qualification and experience.

Pro rata 25/30 hours per week, all year round, a minimum 4 days per week.

Key responsibilities
  • Responsible for 3 FSN nurseries across Hastings and St. Leonards, providing professional guidance and support to nursery managers and teams.
  • Establish quality assurance standards to deliver high‑quality experiences for children and families.
  • Ensure that the EYFS statutory framework is embedded and learning outcomes are being met across all nurseries.
  • Lead on all aspects of safeguarding and act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
  • Lead and manage a team to sustain quality care for children.
  • Mentor and coach staff teams.
Qualifications and experience
  • Minimum Foundation Degree in Early Years or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements and regulatory compliance in an early years setting.
