Oxfordshire County Council is seeking an Early Years SEND Support Worker to work directly with young children with SEND and their families across homes, nurseries, schools and community locations. You will provide practical, hands-on support and help children access interventions that improve outcomes and build confidence in the adults around them.

You will collaborate with Early Years SEND Teachers to deliver targeted strategies, identify strengths and barriers, and ensure timely, right-place

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in early years, education, care or SEND settings.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
• Understanding of child-centred and family-centred approaches.

Responsabilités

• Provide practical, hands-on support to children with SEND and their families across homes, settings and communities.
• Deliver targeted interventions and model effective strategies to develop communication, social, emotional regulation and independence skills.
• Work with Early Years SEND Teachers and other professionals to support children’s needs.
• Follow safeguarding policies to protect children from harm.
