Location: Central Birmingham
Hours: Part‑Time (15 hours per week)

TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a caring and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to work in a Nursery School based in Central Birmingham. This role will involve supporting a child with SEND needs, with a particular focus on Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) development.

Ideal Candidate
  • Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • Have experience working within Early Years settings and supporting children with SEND and SEMH needs, ideally from Reception to KS1.
  • Be patient, nurturing, and able to adapt learning and play activities to meet the needs of individual children.
  • Hold a DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to complete a new Criminal Conviction check through TeacherActive.
  • Be able to provide two recent professional references.

This position is part‑time, working approximately 15 hours per week, and will be facilitated through TeacherActive. The role also offers flexibility for candidates who may wish to take on other placements across North Birmingham.
