Job summary

A Nursery Room Leader role with Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is available in a supportive, child-focused setting. You will manage daily room operations, model best practices, and guide a team to deliver high-quality care, learning and development.

With a focus on safeguarding and EYFS principles, you will mentor staff, promote a warm and engaging environment, and help children reach their full potential in a thriving nursery atmosphere.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification is required.
• Experience working in an Early Years setting with knowledge of the EYFS.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of your allocated room to maintain high care and development standards.
• Support, mentor and guide colleagues while creating a nurturing environment for children.
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare of children is upheld in all activities.

The Role

As a Nursery Room Leader, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of your allocated room, ensuring the highest standards of care, learning and development are maintained.

You’ll lead by example, support and mentor colleagues, and create a nurturing environment where children feel happy, safe and inspired to reach their full potential.

What We're Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare (or an equivalent recognised qualification)
• Experience working within an Early Years setting
• Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS
• A passion for delivering outstanding care and learning experiences
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
